Poly Sync 40 USB/Bluetooth Smart Speakerphone Standard

The Poly Sync 40 is a USB and Bluetooth smart speakerphone sized for huddle rooms and flexible workspaces up to about 5 m x 5 m. A three-microphone steerable array follows whoever is talking as they move around the table and picks up voices out to 8 feet, while noise and echo reduction keep the far end on the conversation rather than the ventilation. Full duplex audio lets two people talk over each other and still land. A single 50 mm driver in a bass reflex enclosure with dual passive radiators carries the low end, so voices sound like voices instead of like a laptop.

It reaches a PC or Mac through the integrated combined USB-A and USB-C cable and a phone over Bluetooth 5.1, so there is no dongle to lose. The 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery runs up to 30 hours, which means the unit does not have to live next to an outlet, and a USB-A port on the side will top up a phone. Two Sync 40 units can be linked wirelessly to cover a longer table. Touch controls handle call, mute, and volume, two light bars show call status from any seat, and the IP64 housing shrugs off dust and spills.
