Pliant Technologies Tempest Headset PHS-SB10L-U

The PHS-SB10L-U is the single-ear SmartBoom LITE from Pliant, a compact on-ear communications headset built for stagehands, camera ops, and crew who want intercom audio without the bulk of a full circumaural set. Its dynamic noise-cancelling cardioid microphone favors the wearer's voice and rejects crowd and stage noise, and the SmartBoom boom arm doubles as the mute: flip it up and the mic is off, flip it down and you are live.

This version ships unterminated so an integrator can fit the exact connector a given intercom system needs. The 5 ft cable is fixed to the earpiece, the ambidextrous boom swings to either side, and the ear pad, temple pad, and windscreen are all replaceable. At 5.1 oz it disappears on the head over a long call. It ships with the headset, an ear sock, and the datasheet.
