RGBlink MSP 217 3G-SDI to Fiber Transceiver

The MSP 217 is a 3G-SDI fiber extender that does not care which end of the run it is on. The same unit converts SDI to fiber or fiber to SDI, which halves the part numbers a hire stock or an install crew has to carry and removes the possibility of grabbing the wrong end on site.

Distance is whatever the SFP+ module supports, and the unit auto-selects between 3 Gbps and 10 Gbps modules. It detects the input format automatically and passes embedded audio through untouched. The housing is small enough to sit at a camera or behind a rack panel, and RGBlink lists it for the long runs found on transport platforms and training grounds.
