OM System PRF-ZD72 PRO 72mm Protection Filter

Screw a PRF-ZD72 onto the front of an M.Zuiko and you get a sacrificial layer of glass in front of an expensive element without a visible cost in contrast. OM System's ZERO coating is what makes that true: it suppresses the surface reflections that would otherwise bounce back off the filter and land in the frame as flare or a ghosted highlight, which is the usual reason people take a protector off before shooting into the light.

The 72mm thread fits the M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4.0 PRO, the ED 12-100mm F4.0 IS PRO and the ED 12-200mm F3.5-6.3. The glass is black-rimmed so the edge does not scatter light back into the barrel, and it stays on the lens through cleaning, sand and salt spray, which is the point of buying one.
