The M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4.0 PRO is the sealed standard zoom most OM-5 and OM-1 kits are built around, which means it is the lens pointed at the sunrise. The LH-61G is its hood, sized so it shades at 45mm without cutting into the 12mm frame.

Fitting it also gives the lens a rim that takes the first knock, useful on a zoom that spends its life mounted. It reverses for transport and locks positively, so it does not slowly rotate loose in a bag.
