OM System LH-61E Lens Hood for M.Zuiko ED 75-300mm II

A 600mm equivalent zoom gathers light across a long barrel, and any of it arriving off-axis lands as a general haze that flattens the whole frame. The LH-61E is the hood cut for the M.Zuiko Digital ED 75-300mm F4.8-6.7 II, deep enough to shade the front element at the long end without vignetting at 75mm.

It is moulded plastic with a precise fit that stays locked through a session of panning, and it doubles as a bumper if the lens gets set down front-first. Carrying it costs nothing; the picture it saves is the one taken with the sun just outside the frame.
