OM System FD-1 Flash Diffuser for Tough Cameras

A built-in flash fired at a subject two centimetres away produces a blown highlight and a hard black shadow, because the source is tiny relative to the subject. The FD-1 clips over it and spreads that output around the lens, which enlarges the effective source and softens the shading across a small subject.

It fits the TG-7, TG-6, TG-5 and TG-4, needs no batteries, and is the cheapest useful fix for the flat-lit look of hand-held macro on a compact.
