OConnor Studio Pedestal and Tripod Adaptor

This is the part that gets an OConnor head onto broadcast rather than film support. It is an alternative base: remove the Mitchell or 150 mm base from the head and reattach this one with the same screws, no other modification and no adapter stack.

Once fitted it carries studio 4-bolt, 3-bolt and Vinten Quickfix connections, which covers Vinten and Sachtler broadcast studio and EFP tripods, pedestals and jibs. For a facility that already runs pedestals and wants OConnor feel on top of them, or for a production that needs one head to work across a film tripod and a studio ped in the same week, this is the single component that makes it possible.
