Novation Impulse 61 USB MIDI Keyboard Controller

Impulse keyboards pair a semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keybed with assignable aftertouch to eight multi-colour backlit pads with velocity and (on the 49/61-key models) pressure sensitivity, so playing and finger drumming live on the same controller. A custom blue-backlit LCD confirms parameter values and key/pad assignments without switching to a computer screen.

The 49- and 61-key models add eight endless rotary encoders and nine sliders for DAW mixer control; the 25-key model carries the same eight encoders with a single slider in a more compact frame. All three connect over USB 2.0 and 5-pin MIDI In/Out, with sustain and expression pedal jacks and a Kensington security slot.
