Novation Bass Station II Analogue Mono Synthesizer
Bass Station II is a 25-key analogue monosynth built around two tuneable, syncable oscillators with four waveforms each, plus a dedicated sub-oscillator for extra low end and adjustable portamento. Two distinct analogue filters, a state-variable Classic Filter and a separate low-pass Acid Filter, run off an oversized cutoff knob, and a post-filter distortion stage with dedicated filter overdrive adds grit when pushed.
Two LFOs modulate other parameters across four waveforms of their own, and a step sequencer and arpeggiator can save four separate 32-note sequences for recall with any patch. The Swifty Edition pairs the identical circuit board and controls with a graphic-design collaboration finish by artist Ian 'Swifty' Swift and a set of exclusive bundled patches; it is not a different synth, just a different finish and preset bank.
