Novation Peak 8-Voice Desktop Hybrid Synthesizer

Peak packs Summit's hybrid architecture into a desktop module: 8 voices, each with three digital New Oxford oscillators plus a noise generator and ring modulator, drawing from 60 onboard wavetables. Every voice runs through its own analogue state-variable OTA filter with low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass modes, plus distortion stages on both sides of the filter.

A 16-slot modulation matrix and two front-panel Animate buttons give hands-on control for performance tweaks, and the effects section covers three reverb types, 16-sync-rate delay with damping, and three chorus types. Peak stores up to 512 patches (256 shipped), and connects over USB 2.0 plus 5-pin MIDI I/O, CV modulation input, dual 1/4 inch outputs, and pedal inputs.
