Novation Summit 61-Key 16-Voice Hybrid Synthesizer
Summit is Novation's flagship hybrid synthesizer, running 16 voices of polyphony across a two-part multitimbral engine so it can play as two separate synths at once. Each voice carries three New Oxford digital oscillators built on Novation's FPGA wavetable and FM engine, then routes through a pair of analogue multimode filters with 12 or 24 dB slopes and switchable low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass modes.
Three stages of analogue distortion sit pre-filter, post-filter, and post-VCA for grit at any point in the signal path, and a modulation matrix, three chorus types, and a 16-sync-rate delay round out the effects. The included Wavetable Editor lets you draw or import audio to build custom oscillator shapes, and the keyboard connects USB-MIDI class compliant with MIDI In/Out/Thru, two expression pedal inputs, and CV input for outboard gear.
