Martin P3-050 System Controller
The P3-050 is the smallest of the rack-mount P3 controllers and the usual starting point for a fixed-install Martin LED video system. It maps a DVI source of up to 1920 by 1080 at 60 fps onto Sceptron, Fatron, Dotron, VC-Grid, VC-Strip, VC-Dot and Exterior PixLine fixtures in real time, with a capacity of 100,000 pixels and 2,000 fixtures. Where a job outgrows that, extra P3-050 units add capacity rather than forcing a change of platform.
Processing is identical to the larger controllers: 16 bits per color, 48 bits per pixel, two frames of latency, real-time scaling across mixed pixel pitches, and live preview of both the incoming video and its mapping onto the rig. Up to 128 universes of Art-Net or sACN drive intensity, color and color temperature and can be merged or cross-faded against the video engine, and a motion universe accepts Art-Net, sACN or Kinesys K2 to move fixtures on the canvas. The unit is 1U and 3 kg, runs on 100 to 240 V, and ships with EU, US and UK power cables plus the safety and quick-start guides.
