Manfrotto 526-1 Fluid Head with 528XB Single Stage Tripod System

A studio and location system built around the 526-1, the heavy end of the 500 series: three numbered drag steps for pan and tilt plus a zero setting for snap moves, and a variable continuous counterbalance from 8 to 15 kg. Controls sit together on the left side under rubber-padded knobs, and the pan arm rosette is a replaceable part rather than part of the casting.

Under it is the 528XB, a two-section steel and aluminum heavy duty tripod with turn locks, a 100mm bowl and a mid-level variable-arm spreader, covering 88 to 163 cm and folding to 114 cm. The kit ships with the MB MBAG120PN padded bag and the 357PLV-1 quick release plate.
