Manfrotto 504HD/546GBK

The 504HD,546GBK is the ground-spreader build of Manfrotto's 504HD twin-leg system. It is the same 504HD fluid head as the mid-spreader kit, riding on the 546GB aluminum tripod, but the spreader sits on the floor rather than partway up the legs. That single change is what you are buying: with the brace at ground level the legs can splay wider and drop lower, which is what you want for a low-angle shot, a cramped corner, or a smooth studio floor where nothing is going to slide out from under you. The head keeps the bridge design, FDS variable friction on pan and tilt, and a counterbalance stepped at 0, 2.5, 5, and 7.5 kg against a 12 kg safety payload.

Leveling is the usual 75mm half ball with an illuminated bubble, so the camera comes level without resetting the legs. The 546GB runs from 18.3 in. up to 67.3 in. and closes to 33.1 in., with spiked feet and rubber overshoes for stage, studio, or location floors, and the ground spreader's arms adjust in length to set the footprint you actually have room for. The kit weighs 16.8 lb and ships with the MBAG100PN padded carry bag.
