Lewitt DTP 640 REX Dual-Element Kick Drum Microphone
The DTP 640 REX solves the usual kick drum compromise by putting both microphones in one body. A 31.7 mm dynamic capsule handles the weight and the 150 dBSPL transient, while a 22.4 mm condenser capsule sitting phase aligned behind it captures the beater attack and the top end. They come out on separate channels through a 5-pin XLR and the supplied breakout cable, so the blend is yours to set at the desk instead of being baked in by mic placement.
Both capsules are cardioid and both share a three-step pre-attenuation pad at 0, -10, and -20 dB. The condenser side needs 48 V phantom; the dynamic side does not. The microphone is 71 mm across and 755 g, so it sits stably inside a drum shell, and it ships with the audio cable and a transport bag.
