Lake LMX 88 Audio System Processor
The LMX 88 is the 2U Lake system processor, an 8 by 8 frame across analogue, AES3 and Dante with two AES50 interfaces selecting 24 channels from up to 96. It sits at front of house taking several consoles at once, and Scenes switch between them without a gap in the show.
Processing is the Lake set: MESA and Ideal Graphic equalizers built on Raised Cosine algorithms on the inputs, crossovers to 48 dB per octave with parametric, shelving, all-pass and FIR filters on the outputs, and LimiterMax peak and RMS limiting. Sixteen input routers each hold four priorities and fail over between them without a gap, and Scenes recall a whole signal flow from the front panel, the Lake Controller software or a GPI contact closure. Two locking IEC inlets feed redundant supplies so the unit stays up when one mains feed does not.
