Lake LMX 48 Audio System Processor
The LMX 48 is the 1U Lake system processor, the point where every source in a system meets and the loudspeaker processing happens. Four inputs and eight outputs are shared between analogue and AES3, Dante carries eight more each way, and two AES50 interfaces select 24 channels out of up to 96.
Processing is the Lake set: MESA and Ideal Graphic equalizers built on Raised Cosine algorithms on the inputs, crossovers to 48 dB per octave with parametric, shelving, all-pass and FIR filters on the outputs, and LimiterMax peak and RMS limiting. Sixteen input routers each hold four priorities and fail over between them without a gap, and Scenes recall a whole signal flow from the front panel, the Lake Controller software or a GPI contact closure. Two locking IEC inlets feed redundant supplies so the unit stays up when one mains feed does not.
