JVC PROHD-4601 HDMI to SDI Converter

This is the standard PROHD-4601 converter offered as a demo unit backed by a JVC one-year warranty. The hardware is the same miniature HDMI-to-SDI converter: it takes an uncompressed HDMI signal and outputs HD/SD-SDI with embedded audio, bridging an HDMI-only camera or player to an SDI switcher, a long cable run, or a broadcast monitor. Two SDI outputs let one source feed two destinations.

It is fully compatible with HDMI v1.3 and carries two channels of embedded audio from HDMI into the SDI stream. HDCP-protected sources are recognized and deliberately not passed. Its small footprint makes it easy to mount on a camera plate or tuck into a rack.
