JVC ProHD-4601HDMI to SDI Converter

The PROHD-4601 is a miniature converter that takes an uncompressed HDMI signal and outputs HD/SD-SDI with embedded audio. It is the bridge for a camera or player that only has HDMI when the rest of the chain, an SDI switcher, a long BNC run, or a broadcast monitor, expects SDI. Two SDI outputs let one HDMI source feed two destinations at once.

It is fully compatible with HDMI v1.3 and carries two channels of embedded audio from HDMI into the SDI stream. HDCP-protected sources are recognized and deliberately not passed, so the converter stays within the rules while handling everything else. Its small size makes it easy to tuck onto a camera plate or into a rack corner.
