JVC Canon KJ20x8.2B IRSD 2/3-inch 20x Broadcast Zoom Lens with 2x Extender
The KJ20x8.2B IRSD is a Canon 2/3-inch B4-mount broadcast zoom, the standard ENG/EFP lens for the JVC GY-HC900 shoulder camcorder. Its 20x range runs from a genuinely wide 8.2mm out to 164mm, and a built-in 2x extender pushes the long end to 328mm when a shot calls for reach. High MTF is held from the center out to the corners across the zoom range, so detail stays consistent whether the operator is wide on a stage or tight on a distant subject.
Practical touches make it fast to work with in the field. Minimum object distance is 0.9m, with a macro function that focuses as close as 10mm from the front element for tight product or insert shots. Canon's Shuttle Shot lets the operator snap between two stored zoom positions or jump to telephoto to check focus and return, and the zoom drives to its extremes in about a second. It mounts to the GY-HC900 and other 2/3-inch B4 broadcast bodies.
