JVC AA-VC20U

The AA-VC20U is the recommended charger for JVC GY-HC500 series camcorders, built specifically for the BN-VC296G and BN-VC2128G lithium-ion batteries. Two bays let you top off a working pair, and a fast-charge slot brings the battery you need next back to full more quickly. An LED beside each bay reads out charge status, turning from red to green at completion and blinking to flag a fault.

It runs on worldwide AC power, accepting 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz, so it travels between studio and location without a step-down transformer. The compact housing is light enough to live in a corner of the camera case or on a shelf in the rack room, and it ships with its AC power adapter.
