JVC FS-790SNRG

This is a demonstration example of the FS-790SNRG, a Power Plus configuration of JVC's ProHD fiber system. It pairs a camera unit and base station for tactical fiber use, with OpticalCON connectors, RTS intercom, an Anton Bauer PowerPlus mount with NOC dongle, an HDX power supply, and ST-to-LC jumpers, aimed at EFP and remote productions that need a rugged field cable rather than a permanent SMPTE run.

What sets this Power Plus system apart is its external HDX power supply, which delivers roughly 100 extra watts at the camera for accessories such as a teleprompter, a talent monitor, or a tally system. Because the HDX supply handles powering the camera, the base station in this configuration does not carry the internal high-voltage supply of the standard model; it includes a 12V DC supply only to run its own internals.
