JVC BN-S8823 7.2V Lithium-Ion Battery with LED Indicator
The BN-S8823 is a 7.2V lithium-ion battery for JVC GY-HM100, HM150, HM170 and HM180 handheld camcorders. It carries 2600 mAh, roughly 18.7 Wh, and a four-level LED indicator on the pack reads out remaining charge at a glance without powering up the camera. On compatible bodies it also reports remaining percentage and record time in the viewfinder.
A DC output socket lets the pack feed the camera and an accessory at the same time. It is fully interchangeable with JVC's BN-VF823, so existing chargers and spares carry over. Keep one on the camera and a second in the bag for a full day of run-and-gun shooting.
