Juice Goose CQ Series AC Power Sequencers
Sequencing exists because turning a whole rack on at once is two problems at the same time: an inrush that trips the breaker, and amplifiers waking up before the console does. The CQ Series staggers the turn-on and reverses it on shutdown. CQ-1515 is the single rack space version, seven outlets with six of them switched on a 15 amp combined rating and surge protection built in; CQ-1520 is the same panel rated for 20 amps with line noise filtration.
For installs where the power lands in a panel rather than a rack strip, CQ-2200 is a hardwired two stage sequencer on a 20 amp circuit, and CQ-3000 is the high current version, hardwired and rated to 30 amps for large amplifier systems.
