Aperture is set manually on the lens rather than from the camera, and the barrel measures 87 x 144 mm and weighs 1120 g. Eleven elements in nine groups with one aspherical element control distortion, and the nine-blade rounded iris keeps out-of-focus areas smooth. A 77 mm front thread takes screw-in filters. The Dragonfly barrel is sealed in five key areas and ships with a rigid case and hood.
