USB 3.0 runs out of reach at about 3 m, which is the wall every installer hits the moment a USB camera has to live across the room from the PC. The U-BRIDGE 3 WP carries SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen 1 - the full 5 Gbps - up to 100 m / 330 ft over a single CAT6A U/FTP cable, with no drivers to load and backward compatibility down to USB 3.1 Gen 1, 3.0, and 2.0 so existing cameras, videobars, DSPs, and speakerphones work as-is.

What separates it from the standard U-BRIDGE 3 is where the far end lands: the device side is built into a Decora-style 1-gang wall plate with a USB-C and a USB-A port and a capped RS-232 terminal, so the camera end of the run finishes flush in the wall instead of sitting in a box on a shelf. The plate is replaceable if a job needs a different color, the RS-232 pass-through carries VISCA control on the same cable as the video, and power over cable means the whole link can be fed from either the wall plate or the PC host module.
