Hercules HDP DJ45 Closed-Back DJ Headphones

The HDP DJ45 is a monitoring headphone for someone learning to cue. The ear cushions surround the ear rather than sitting on it, which isolates better than an on-ear design and matters when the room is loud and the cue is quiet. Large 50 mm drivers and a 60 ohm impedance give usable level from the headphone output on a small controller.

The cable attaches to the left earpiece only, so nothing crosses the body while working, and the spiral construction runs from about 1 m relaxed to over 2 m extended. Each earpiece rotates on two axes, 90 degrees vertically and 180 degrees horizontally, for one-ear monitoring and for folding flat to travel. A 6.35 mm adapter is in the box.
