Heil Sound PR 30B Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone
The PR 30B is the supercardioid member of the Heil PR family, tighter in its pickup than the cardioid PR 40 and voiced with a natural midrange presence rather than a scooped broadcast curve. Heil points it at female voices in particular, where the articulate midrange comes through without an exaggerated low end, but it does the same job on a snare, a guitar cabinet, or a live vocal.
Response runs 40 Hz to 18 kHz into a 370 ohm balanced output on a 3-pin XLR, with 146 dB of maximum SPL and no phantom power required. At 9 oz it is light enough for a boom arm or a drum clamp. The PR 30 B ships with a microphone clip and a padded zipper bag.
