Fujinon FMM-X1 Focus Manual Module for LA Series Lenses

The FMM-X1 is the focus manual module Fujinon specifies for its LA Series lenses, the LA16x8BRM and LA30x7.8BRM. It mounts to the lens with a knurled clamp and meshes a gear with the focus ring, so rotation arriving from a CFH-3 grip through a CFC-12-990 flexible cable becomes focus movement at the lens. There is no motor in it; the whole path from the operator's hand to the glass is mechanical.

It is the module in the MS-X1 semi-servo control kit, where Fujinon pairs it with the CFH-3 grip, the CFC-12-990 cable and an SRD-92B zoom rate demand. That combination is what turns an LA Series lens into a shoulder-mount rig with hand focus and powered zoom. The FMM-X1 is LA Series specific; eXceed and Premier series lenses take the FMM-6B instead.
