Fujinon FSD-11 Focus Position Demand Unit for eXceed Series Lenses

The FSD-11 is the focus position demand in Fujinon's eXceed Series control system, listed in the manufacturer's own literature as both a Focus Position Demand Unit and a Focus Servo Demand Unit. It ships with its captive cable and works as a pair with the FSM-30B focus servo module: the operator turns the demand, the demand reports an absolute position, and the servo module drives the lens focus ring to match. Because the position is absolute rather than incremental, focus marks stay where the operator set them.

Fujinon specifies it for the eXceed Series and puts it inside the SS-01 full-servo control kit alongside the FSM-30B and an SRD-92B zoom rate demand. When the demand needs to be mounted away from the camera, Fujinon lists ECA extension cables in one, five and ten metre lengths.
