Fujinon CFC-12-990 Flexible Cable for Focus Manual Modules

The CFC-12-990 is the flexible cable that links a Fujinon focus grip to the focus manual module mounted on the lens. It is a mechanical drive rather than an electrical one: the operator turns the grip, the sheathed cable transmits that rotation along the side of the camera, and the module turns the lens focus ring. Both ends terminate in a threaded fitting, one to the grip and one to the module.

Fujinon specifies it across the manual-focus half of its portable lens control system. It appears in the MS-13B and MS-15D semi-servo kits for Premier, Select and Broadcast ENG lenses, in the MS-01 kit for eXceed Series lenses, and in the MS-X1 kit for the LA Series, which makes it the one part common to every semi-servo configuration Fujinon publishes.
