Both of these do the same job at two sizes: take one 4K HDMI source and put it on every display in the room at once. HDMI 2.0b, HDCP 2.2, 18 Gbps and 4K 4:4:4 with HDR mean the signal is not quietly downgraded on the way through.

The useful part is what happens when the displays do not match. Each output can be set to bypass or to downscale 4K to 1080p, and EDID management stops one older screen from dragging the whole system down to its resolution.
