The DM20 Gen 2 replaces the original DM20 with next-generation electronics that draw only 6 mA of phantom power and are hardened against hot-plugging damage, plus a new RM2 rim mount for faster, more secure attachment across a wider range of rim shapes.

Its supercardioid pattern isolates each drum from the rest of the kit for a cleaner mix, with the 20 Hz to 20 kHz response and 148 dB SPL headroom Earthworks drum mics are built around. Runs on standard 48 V phantom power.
