Elgato Cam Link 4K
Cam Link 4K takes the HDMI output of a DSLR or mirrorless camera and turns it into a standard USB webcam feed, so a real camera can drive a stream, video call, or recording in place of a laptop's built-in camera. It handles 4K30, 4K60 in MJPG, 1080p60, and lower resolutions down to 480p60, with latency low enough that the feed does not visibly lag behind the source.
It connects over USB 3.0 in either Type-A or Type-C form and needs no drivers beyond what Windows or macOS already provides, showing up as a webcam in OBS Studio, Zoom, Discord, and similar software. The dongle itself is small and light, and ships with a 30cm USB 3.0 extension cable for camera rigs where the port is hard to reach.
