Datavideo PTR-10T MK II HDBaseT Robotic Pan-Tilt Head
The PTR-10T MK II is a robotic pan-tilt head that makes a remote camera out of a camcorder or block camera you already own, which is a very different economic proposition from replacing three cameras with three PTZs. It is machined from aluminium alloy, weighs 3.4 kg and carries up to 4 kg, and it passes SDI, HDMI, RS-232, RS-422, HDBaseT, tally and LANC through the head so the camera's own signals come out of one place.
HDBaseT is what the T denotes: video, control and PoE++ over a single Ethernet run to 100 m, so a ceiling or wall position needs no local power. Control comes from the included IR remote, a VISCA protocol controller, Datavideo's RMC-180 or RMC-300A panels, or an HS-1600T switcher, and RS-422 reaches 1,200 m. Fifty pan and tilt presets cover a multi-angle show, a large front tally light shows status, and a D-Tap output supplies the camera at a selectable 7.4, 8.4, 10 or 12 V.
