Datavideo HDR-2 4K Recorder
The HDR-2 is a compact 4K digital recorder that captures an HDMI feed straight to an SD card using efficient H.265 or H.264 encoding. It records up to 3840x2160 at 50/60p, so it can archive the output of a 4K camera, switcher, or PTZ rig without the bulk or cost of a full deck. HDMI 2.0 input, output, and loop-through let it sit inline in a signal chain and pass the picture on while it records.
Audio comes in on two 3-pin XLR jacks plus a stereo RCA pair, so you can feed it balanced mixer output or consumer sources, with a 3.5mm headphone jack for monitoring. Files land as MP4 on an SD, SDHC, or SDXC card up to 128GB at bit rates from 1 to 120 Mbps, and a small 2 inch LCD confirms what is being captured. It can be powered over USB from a mobile battery and controlled remotely by DVIP, RS-422/232, or GPI.
