Datavideo HDR-90 4K ProRes Recorder
The HDR-90 is a 1U rackmount recorder that captures Apple ProRes in resolutions up to 4K/UHD 2160p60, or records up to four 1080p sources at once as separate ISO files. It carries one 12G-SDI input, three 3G-SDI inputs, and a 4K HDMI input, so a single unit can archive a full multi-camera switch and every individual angle at the same time. ProRes 422, Proxy, LT, and HQ are all supported at 10-bit 4:2:2, wrapped in QuickTime MOV files on exFAT-formatted media.
Recording lands on two removable 2.5-inch SSDs behind the touchscreen; when the first drive fills, capture rolls automatically onto the second for uninterrupted long-form recording. Datavideo specifies the Samsung 870 EVO for compatibility, and the SSDs are not included. A front touchscreen handles setup and playback, and built-in waveform and vectorscope tools let an operator check levels and color without a separate scope.
