DPA Microphones DPA GM1500 Gooseneck Mount for Pencil Microphone
The GM1500 solves the piano problem: how to get a pencil microphone into the frame at a precise height and angle without clamping anything to the instrument. It combines a magnet base, a gooseneck and a shock mount, so it holds onto the frame, positions the capsule and isolates it from the structure in one assembly.
It is not restricted to pianos - anything ferrous and reasonably flat will take it - but that is the job it was designed around.
