Datavideo CAP-1
The CAP-1 is a pocket-sized capture box that turns a 3G-SDI camera feed into a plug-and-play USB 3.0 webcam source. It takes the SDI signal in, passes it through a loop-out to keep feeding a monitor or switcher, and hands the picture to a computer over USB 3.0 for streaming, recording, or video conferencing. The camera simply appears as a UVC device in OBS, Zoom, Teams, or Wirecast, so there are no drivers to install and no external power to plug in.
Audio travels with the video: a physical switch chooses between the audio already embedded in the SDI stream or an analog feed brought in on the built-in 3.5 mm stereo line-in jack. The box captures up to 1080p60 and outputs YUY2 or MJPG over USB 3.0, falling back to MJPG on a USB 2.0 host, and it auto-detects the incoming resolution and frame rate so the operator can just connect and go.
