Crestron CCS-UC-1 Tabletop Conference Device
The CCS-UC-1 puts the two things a table actually needs into one enclosure: a full-range speakerphone and the touch screen that runs the meeting. A 360 degree quad microphone array picks up around 20 ft, and an 11 W amplifier and full-range driver reach 95 dB SPL at half a metre across 90 Hz to 22 kHz, which is enough for both far-end voice and programme audio in a small to mid-size room. Echo cancellation is done in the conferencing software on the connected Crestron Collab Compute rather than in the puck.
The 7 in. 1280 x 800 capacitive multitouch screen receives its Microsoft Teams or Zoom Rooms interface straight from the compute, showing the schedule and call controls with no separate configuration step. A capacitive touch bar across the top mutes and unmutes, with a light bar that turns the whole ring red so the state is readable from across the table. Power and data both arrive over one Cat cable from the compute's PoE+ port, and a PW-2420RU 24VDC pack is included for installations that need to power it locally. The Crestron Collab Compute is sold separately.
