Countryman E2 Windscreen

An earset boom puts the capsule directly in the path of a talker breathing, and the E2 windscreen is the part that keeps plosives off the diaphragm. It presses onto the capped capsule and stays on through a performance.

Four finishes match the E2 boom colours, so the windscreen reads as part of the microphone rather than as an addition to it. Replace it when the foam packs down: a compressed windscreen protects less and is more visible.
