Clear-Com HXII-DPL HelixNet Powerline Device
The HXII-DPL bridges a HelixNet system host to a run of standard 3-pin XLR microphone cable. It takes 100Mb Ethernet in and puts out one independent XLR Powerline carrying OFDM-modulated audio and control alongside plus or minus 28.5V DC, so beltpacks and stations hang off mic cable that is already installed rather than new structured wiring. Each Powerline supports up to seven beltpacks, or two to seven remote and speaker stations, and the output is protected against shorts and overload.
Up to 24 of these devices can sit on one Arcadia Central Station or HMS-4X host. Front and rear LEDs report network link, Powerline activity and overload separately, so a bad cable run is visible at the device instead of at the console. The unit ships with the PSU-EXT-005 inline supply, draws up to 87W depending on connected load, and has VESA 75mm sockets for mounting.
