The KMA3-1AG pairs Cartoni's Master 30 flat Mitchell-base head (HM3000) with a 1-stage aluminum tripod and a low ground spreader for the widest, most stable footprint. The Master 30 is rated 3 to 30 kg and runs on Cartoni's patented planetary fluid module, with continuous drag on pan and tilt and continuous counterbalance across the full 90 degree tilt range.

Dual telescopic pan bars, an illuminated spirit level and digital readouts for drag and counterbalance ship with the head, along with a large side-load quick-release camera plate. The ground spreader trades a little height for extra rigidity, which suits studio floors and locked-down OB positions.
