Cartoni Master 65 Fluid Head (HM6500)

The Master 65 is Cartoni's outside-broadcast head for long boxed lenses, counterbalanced from 20 kg (44 lbs) up to 80 kg (176 lbs) on a 150 mm mount. Its fluid drag uses a silicon film module that goes from almost freewheeling at minimum up to a consistent drag suited to long focal lengths, and the patented steel cable counterbalance holds the camera at any angle in the +/- 65 degree tilt range.

The flat Mitchell base, horizontal lock and ergonomic brake levers are laid out for operators working a full shift. A crank under the camera slide gives micrometric adjustment of the sliding platform for exact centering, and the head has a digital counterbalance readout and an illuminated spirit level.
