The KMX5-1AM pairs Cartoni's Maxima 5.0 flat Mitchell-base head (HM5000) with a 1-stage aluminum tripod and a mid-level spreader, built for heavy camera packages that need perfect balance through the full 180 degree tilt swing. The head is rated 5 to 57 kg, with continuous fluid drag and continuous counterbalance on both pan and tilt.

Ergonomic controls and digital readouts make the drag and counterbalance settings repeatable from setup to setup, and the large quick-release camera plate takes an industry-standard slide. The aluminum legs and mid-level spreader keep the package planted for studio and EFP work.
