Softron OnTheAir Video 3 Closed Captioning/Subtitles Option Closed Captioning Was Not Part Of The Base

On OnTheAir Video 3, closed captioning was not part of the base license, it was this paid option. Once enabled, it carries CEA-608 and CEA-708 caption tracks and OP47 subtitles through the channel's output alongside the video and audio, meeting the caption requirements most broadcast and cable delivery specs call for.

Like Softron's other OnTheAir Video options, it activates against an existing OnTheAir Video 3 license on the same output channel and runs on whatever macOS system and video hardware, AJA, Blackmagic Design, or Deltacast, that channel already uses. It is licensed per channel, so a multichannel install needs one Closed Captioning option per channel that requires captions.
