Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM is a fast normal prime for full-frame EF-mount cameras. Its f/1.2 maximum aperture gives a very shallow depth of field and a soft background blur, and gathers enough light to keep shooting as the sun goes down or the venue dims.

Eight elements in six groups, including an aspherical element and a circular eight-blade diaphragm, render smooth out-of-focus areas and sharp central detail wide open. Ring-type USM focuses quietly down to 1.48 feet, and the weather-resistant L-series barrel accepts 72mm filters. It ships with the ES-78 hood and LP1214 case. Canon part number 1257B002.
