Blackmagic Media Module 8TB
The Blackmagic Media Module 8TB is the removable M.2 PCIe SSD that records inside Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras and reads back through the Blackmagic Media Dock. It captures high-resolution 12-bit Blackmagic RAW plus H.264 proxy files in the same pass, so full-quality RAW and edit-ready proxies land on one module. Eight terabytes holds over four hours of 12K Blackmagic RAW or roughly 20 hours of 4K.
Data rates reach up to 1432 MB/s at 24 fps, giving the headroom needed for high-resolution RAW capture. Docked in the Media Dock, the module is available over 10G Ethernet for direct file access and transfer, moving footage from set to post without a separate copy step. It is built specifically for the URSA Cine and Media Dock workflow.
