Blackmagic Design MEDIA MODULE 16TB

The Blackmagic Media Module 16TB is the removable M.2 PCIe SSD that records inside Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras and reads back through the Blackmagic Media Dock. It stores high-resolution 12-bit Blackmagic RAW along with H.264 proxy files, so an operator captures full-quality RAW and lightweight proxies to the same module in a single pass. Sixteen terabytes gives long recording runs between offloads on a large shoot.

Data rates reach up to 1432 MB/s at 24 fps, enough headroom for 12K Blackmagic RAW. When the module is docked, footage is available over 10G Ethernet for direct file access and network transfer, moving material from camera to edit without an intermediate copy. It is designed for the URSA Cine and Media Dock ecosystem rather than as a generic drive.
